| Hearst's Teen Titles Partner with Procter & Gamble's Tampax and Always Brands |

CINCINNATI, Sept. 5, 2003 - beinggirl.com, a website for teenage girls from Procter & Gamble's Always and Tampax brands, announces a multi-title online partnership - the first of its kind - with Hearst Magazines' teen titles Seventeen, CosmoGIRL! and TEEN. Through this program, beinggirl.com will be prominently featured on Seventeen.com, CosmoGIRL.com and Teenmag.com, which collectively reach 1.5 million unique users per month. Starting this month, beinggirl.com will exclusively own an integrated channel on Seventeen.com, with media support on CosmoGIRL.com and Teenmag.com. The integrated channel on Seventeen.com will feature content from beinggirl.com on physical and sexual health, beauty, self-image, and personal hygiene. beinggirl.com's content and quizzes will be promoted on the homepages and in the health and body sections of Hearst's teen magazine sites. In addition, the program will offer four sweepstakes and will be promoted in Seventeen.com's e-mail newsletter. The program will also include print promotion in select issues of Seventeen and Teen.
